The fountains

Definition of fountain: Building made of stone, tile, iron or any durable material with a channel where the water goes.

There are lots of paints wich its principal feature its the water and the fountains are one of them. The painters base their paints in diferent colour tonalities. They use the perspective aswell and, in this case, they use it to paint the water and the fountain’s position.

One of the paints that impact me more, is a paint of the middle age fountain, made with canvas and watercolor. His autor is Manuel Gómez Matos. As you can see in the image, it is next to a big tree and situated in a town that has trhee small holes from where water flows and it goes to the base of the fountain.

The springs

Definition of springs: From where the water flows.

When you paint a landscape it is not necessary to give a very detailed form of what you paint like when you paint a concret object. In this case, rocks plants and water are the features painted in the paint, in it you can see how the water falls by a waterfall and this way you can see the vegetation sorrounding it aswell. Its size is 69x49cm.

The Groundwater

Definition of groundwater: The groundwaters are those that are stored when the rain water, or the ones which come from rivers or lakes, arrives until the impermeable layers of the earth, after crossing the permeable. Groundwater depart and arrive on the surface, forming a fountain.

To do art of big spaces, light colours are necessary to transmit depht. In this image shows warm colors to give tranquility, calmness, confidence, etc. Giving them exaggerated forms.
